HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Hundreds gathered at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown to take part in the Senior Fall Fair.
The fair provides a place for seniors to receive health tips and information.
The event also offers pre-diabetic, depression, stress, and cardiac screenings.
Vendors offered travel packages as well financial planning to help Baby Boomers and other generations plan their futures wisely.
Event organizer say the fair is marketed toward seniors, but it also lends a wealth of knowledge to a wide variety of people.
“The senior population is growing at a rapid pace and the thing about the Senior Fair is the fact that it’s not only for seniors, but its also for care takers and someone like me whose parents are getting older. You need to think about these things ahead of time,” said Crystal Schelle.
With the big turnout Saturday, the Senior Fall Fair is scheduled to continue next year.
